Island Morgan Horse Farm
Morgan Horse Mares, Geldings and Stallions For Sale and Breeding on Vancouver Island.
Island Morgan Horse Farm is a Registered Morgan Horse breeding establishment located in Virginia Estates in Coombs, B.C. Howard Fowler, the owner, began breeding horses in 1969. The lineage can be traced back through Sun King, to Sun Dust, to the Gold Dust line, and back to the original Justin Morgan.
We produce horses suitable for show, trail, and other working specialties. We raise these horses for sale and breeding purposes.
The present stallion (shown above), standing 16 hh, Island Conquest, took reserve champion at the Pacific Northwest Morgan Horse Show in 2004. He is used for most of the breeding. The other stallion Island Grand Duke, a 15.3 hh palomino, is also used for breeding.
There are seven geldings ranging in ages from two to eight years old. There are also three young stallions available for sale. A number of fillies are available as well. The rest of the over thirty horses are mares ranging in ages from three to fifteen years old.
All the horses are either liver chestnuts, chestnuts, palomino and even cremellos.
All of our horses are seen by a farrier regularly and are up to date on their West Nile Virus shots. They all have excellent feet and conformation.
The Morgan horses at Island Morgan Horse Farm are all very people friendly.
